"All licensees must comply with the MPE limits given in Section 1.1310 of the rules, there are no exceptions. Categorical exclusions are given to those licensees that under most situations would not cause a compliance problem by themselves. They are still bound by the MPE requirements though. As soon as the licensee co-locates with another, the licensee must take into account existing fields caused by these entities. If there are areas that exceed 100% of the applicable limit then those that are contributing more than 5% of the applicable limit are responsible for compliance. The last licensee to a site is always responsible for making sure that fields they add (even if under 5%) will not cause the site to become non-compliant.

RF Sign Up Date FCC Tower Registration Number The posting should take place no later than the time at which lighting of the structure is first required. 47 C.F.R. 17.4 (g) States that the structure registration numbers must be displayed. You should ask "is this readily visible to someone who doesn't have access to the site?" If a location is conspicuous enough to post a "No Trespassing" sign or the owner's name and logo, then it is likely an appropriate place to post the Registration Number *

*If you are still unsure whether the structure is in compliance you may wish to post the registration Number at several points along a perimeter fence, or at both the gate to the access drive and adjacent to the base of the antenna structure. You're required to identify the number as the "FCC Registration Number." Note - anyone who finds it necessary to pass the point where a caution, warning, or danger sign is posted must first ascertain the hazard that exists and the means to control or mitigate the hazard.
